My approach

Research throughout the years has consistently shown that the quality of the relationship between an individual and their therapist is the most important factor associated with successful outcomes.

Therapy is your time and I invite you to come as you are. I provide a welcoming, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for you. I will also listen closely, reflect back, ask questions, and offer interpretations and perspective.

I believe you are the expert on your life and view therapy as a collaborative approach where we will discuss your challenges in order to create goals for you to work towards. This means you will be an active participant in your personal growth and progress! During therapy, we will work together to understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will help you identify unhelpful behaviors or thinking patterns that are getting in the way, plus learn different coping techniques and behavioral changes to help you stay mentally and emotionally well, feel more confident, and have greater fulfillment in your life.

I specialize in working with millennials and Gen Z'ers. To provide better client care, I purposefully limit how many individuals I see at a time for therapy, allowing me to be fully present in each session.

How should I prepare for my online therapy session?

I provide online therapy through a secure HIPAA-compliant software platform, Zoom. A unique secure link will be sent to your preferred email prior to each session. All you need to engage in online therapy is a computer, smartphone, or tablet with audio and camera capabilities and a strong internet connection. It is also helpful to have an environment that is private and free from distractions. Headphones are really helpful!
